Description

Peanut Amlou is a rich Moroccan spread made with peanuts, flaxseeds, Moroccan sesame seeds, fennel and anise seeds, orange blossom honey and culinary argan oil, the peanuts and sesame give it a full nutty flavour, the honey brings mellow floral sweetness, and the aromatic seeds add the warm familiar note found in Moroccan breads and homemade sweets, making it a generous choice for breakfast, tea time or a quick snack

Benefits and Nutritional Properties

The nutritional value of this Amlou comes from its carefully combined ingredients

Peanuts: Naturally provide plant protein, fibre, magnesium, niacin or vitamin B3 and vitamin E
Flaxseeds: Contribute fibre and alpha-linolenic acid or ALA, an essential plant omega-3 fat
Moroccan sesame seeds: Add further plant protein, fibre, iron, magnesium and mainly unsaturated fats
Culinary argan oil: Provides mainly unsaturated fats including oleic and linoleic acids together with naturally occurring tocopherols from the vitamin E family
Orange blossom honey: Supplies carbohydrate energy, mellow sweetness and a delicate floral note that balances the peanuts and aromatic seeds

Together these ingredients make Peanut Amlou a naturally energy-rich and substantial addition to breakfast or a between-meal snack
